Richard (Dick) McCarty joined Imperial Realty in 1999 as its Brokerage Manager. Under Dick’s leadership the brokerage team is primarily responsible for leasing all of Imperial’s 65+ properties in the Chicagoland Metropolitan Area having over ten million square feet of office, retail, self storage and industrial real estate. With quality service aimed at providing customer satisfaction, Imperial Realty’s brokers also provide 3rd party services including tenant representation as well as property dispositions and in-house acquisitions.

Prior to joining Imperial Realty, Dick was the Vice President and General Manager for William M. Kunkel in Des Plaines, a $50 million commercial and residential brokerage company. There, Dick was responsible for all aspects of the companies operations including, sales, profits and recruitment needs. Other career highlights include Vice President for a commercial services company, Director of Marketing for Prudential Real Estate Affiliates and President of an executive recruitment company. Dick also owned his own professional staff consulting business for several years. While maintaining his professional career, Dick served 10 years on the Adjunct Facility for the College of DuPage and 2 years as President of the School Board for Queen of the Rosary in Elk Grove Village.

Dick received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Notre Dame. Dick has been married for 32 years; his wife is a professional in the Human Resources field. Dick has one son who is also a graduate of Notre Dame and a licensed attorney.
